Lardeau Forest Products is a small, custom cut sawmill located in the West Kootenays of B.C. The majority of our work has been supplying premium timbers to timber frame home companies.
We are a family run operation and pride ourselves in putting out a high quality and extremely accurate product with as little waste as possible. We cut timbers of any size and produce as wide a board as desired. Some of the bigger timbers we have cut include 30"x30" by 25', but we would love an opportunity to saw even bigger timbers. We offer rift sawn boards, both heart centre and free of heart timbers, and any special cut you can dream up. At Lardeau Forest Products no job is too small and there is no such thing as one too big. Although we mainly cut Douglas Fir, Larch, and Western Red Cedar, we can source any species you request. We have a custom made Duncan Iron Mill designed to cut logs up to ten feet in diameter so if you can find us a log that big we would be excited to saw it for you.
